Safety

Please review Safety Information. Remember, this is a smoke free property! Smoking is strictly prohibited. Please have any smoking guests extinguish and properly dispose of butts. If you see anyone whose actions are causing unsafe or potentially damaging conditions, please call emergency personnel at 911 and contact us immediately.

Noise

Please do not make excessive noise or engage in activities that unduly disturb neighbors. Please respect the right for everyone to get a good night sleep. Parties of other than a few guests are prohibited. Please advise your guests to respect the place where you live. You are responsible for their actions while they are on the property.

Trash & recycling

Trash & recycling containers are located at the back porch. Please review the Disposal Guidelines for proper disposal of trash, recyclables & unwanted items.

​

Trash & recycling must be placed in the city issued containers provided and will not be collected if:
– containers are not facing with arrows toward street or alley
– containers are not sitting level or if they are placed on snowbank
– containers are too close to other containers, objects or snow banks
– container lid is not substantially closed
– container contains unacceptable items (i.e. electronics)
– trash or recycling is outside of containers

Trash pickup is each Tuesday and recycling every other Tuesday. Set containers out on 11th St N directly west of back porch (you will need to save a parking space for your containers) on Monday evening and return to back porch on Tuesday afternoon. When setting containers out for pickup, place 2′ apart and 3′ from other objects as shown.

Sidewalk Snow and Ice Removal

Keep full width of sidewalk & steps free of snow & ice. All snow & ice shall be removed within

24 hours of deposit. Snow & ice that is not removed within 24 hours, Tenant shall pay for costs

of removal at $120 per man-hour. Any charges imposed by the City of La Crosse for failure to

keep sidewalks clear of snow & ice will be paid by Tenant. Tenants from 1100 apartment shall be

responsible the 1100 side of front & rear steps and shall also be responsible for 11th Street (west)

sidewalk & half of rear (south) sidewalk as indicated by YELLOW. Tenants from 1104 apartment shall

be responsible the 1104 side of front & rear steps and shall also be responsible for State Street

(north) sidewalk through to corner & half of rear (south) sidewalk as indicated by RED.

Landlord is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damage to vehicles or personal property.

Bikes

Bikes are not allowed in the apartment. Bikes should be registered for free with the City of La Crosse. Registering with the city may help in the recovery & identification of your bike if it is stolen.

City Bus

MTU city bus stop is located a 1 block away on State St. Take advantage of unlimited fare free passage on all MTU bus routes with valid UWL, WTC & Viterbo student ID. Schedules & routes can be found at the City of La Crosse MTU website or Google Maps directions with transit route option.

​

Outdoor Furniture

Upholstered furniture that is not designed for outdoor use is prohibited to be used or stored on the lawn, exterior balcony, porch, deck, roof, or other areas exposed to the weather. No personal property including any type of furniture may be left in lawn area while not in use.
